Ngwenya Lodge caters for twelve people sharing or alternatively, for four couples in four large luxuriously furnished bedrooms - all en suite. The bedrooms are well aired with ceiling fans and are fitted with mosquito nets. A laundry service is included in the housekeeping and your laundry will be done whilst you relax and enjoy a day’s fishing.
Ngwenya Lodge is situated at Msuna Island on the mighty Zambezi River, just two hours from the daunting Victoria Falls. We offer you the experience of a lifetime €- the thrill of casting a fly or spinner to one of the hardest fighting freshwater fish in the world . . .The Tiger Fish.
Four boats with professional guide/skippers, who manage the river fishing and help to give you the best fishing experience ever. Thirst quenchers and snacks are part of our service on all our boats. Expert fishing tuition is provided to beginners and river cruises and sundowner-cruises are provided for those that don’t fish and just want to take in the gorgeous surroundings
Whilst our main activity is Tiger Fishing, additional trips can be arranged to Victoria Falls. Arrangements can also be made for Bungi-jumping and river rafting as well as Game viewing trips to the nearby Hwange National Park for those who wish to get up close and personal with the Big Five. This is all at an additional cost.

The entertainment area includes a poolside Lapa, equipped with an all inclusive well stocked bar, and a dining area. The lodge is fully staffed for all your needs and all furniture and finishes are colonially styled from Rhodesian teak. The lodge overlooks the spectacular mighty Zambezi River.
At Ngwenya we support “Catch and Release” In the last three years we have seen a significant growth in tiger fish numbers, partially due to the catch and release practice. Numbers are growing year by year and stock is not being depleted. We allow you to keep a trophy fish, but this is up to you.
